passion for mentoring

There are some things so dear, some things so precious, some things so eternally true, that they are worth dying for. And I submit to you that if a man has not discovered something that he will die for, he isn’t fit to live.
— Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Mentor Talk Podcast was created to help people learn and get practical guidance from a wide range of successful professionals. Direct access to a mentor is not always feasible. We give access to mentors, by interviewing the best in the business and making their knowledge available to you right here, at no cost.

Guest range from CEO's, Entrepreneurs, Doctors, Lawyers, Activist and Scholars. Topics include business, wealth creation, relationships, fitness, career advice and lifestyle. The Mentor Talk Podcast is where everyday people meet success.

I’m Lawrence Joseph and I was born and raised in Fort Lauderdale, FL (20 minutes north of Miami). In 2009, I graduated from the University of South Florida and currently reside in Phoenix, AZ. I am a big believer in mentorship and my purpose in life is to give back to young people. Especially those who don't have a positive male role model in their lives.

The future belongs to those who prepare for it today
— Malcolm X

I make my living as a salesperson for a major corporation. I am also the Founder of 2Kings Media Group, where we help local businesses increase sales through digital online advertising. I am married to an intelligent, beautiful, southern belle, personal trainer and recent MBA grad class of 2018. She is wonderfully amazing and her passion is to help decrease childhood obesity.

In 2011, I was looking for a mentor. A few months later my friend introduced me to my most recent mentor. The experience was great. The knowledge was amazing and the ability to learn side by side of him was priceless. We eventually became business partners and my success today is a reflection of what I learned.

Unfortunately it’s not always that easy to find a mentor. I believe we all can learn at least one thing from somebody. For those who don't have access to a mentor directly, this podcast is your outlet to learn and get that guidance that a mentor would provide.

This podcast was created to be an outlet for successful professionals, whose stories are underrepresented.  Every week you will have the opportunity to hear from people in all industries and doing amazing things all over the world.

You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them.
